The Microsoft Journalism Initiative was launched to explore ways to provide journalists and local newsrooms with new sustainable revenue models, modern journalism tools and technology, enhanced legal and cybersecurity protections, and additional distribution opportunities to expand reach and grow audiences.

This was a major copyediting effort on a tight timeline to meet the deadline for a major Microsoft event announcing the project. It required a thorough content reorganization and expansion of an existing draft.
